We were oined by Terry Thomas from Total SeaFishing magazine for a forthcomin article featuinf fishing facilities in the Penarth and Cardiff areas.We locked out a 6am,in pitch black and thick fog.The fog lifted soon after sunrise,and a pretty nice winters day unfolded.In total 20 cod boated,all in the 2-4lb range.

Lady Helen regulars Cefn Cribwr SAC,enjoyed the break in the weather boating 15 cod in the 2-3lb range.All the fish caught uptide on worm/squid coctails.

After a week of strong winds ,we managed to get out in search of some Cod.The day was off to a good start with 2 Thornbacks in quick sucession.The Cod were about in good numbers and a steady day produced 19 fish, mostly in the 2-3 lb range, with the best tipping the scales […]
