First day out fishing for over a week,due to strong easterly winds,cod starting to feed ,with several decent fish boated…

Strong North Wasterly winds,made for a hard days fishing, several “small” Thornbacks boated,along with a handfull of cod

with Easterly breezes and worse to come,the fishing slowed down considerably,the fish seem to sense the storms coming well in advance.A few good size cod boated ,along with some Thornback rays,and a couple of Congers.

After a week of unsettled weather,a calm,cold night ,produced a dozen or so smaller Codling to around 1lb 8oz.

Lady Helen regulars Cefn Cribwr SAC, got in amongst the fish again, on a cold calm day. Ideal for winter Cod fishing .
The fish ranging from 3-5 lb, all falling to uptided worm/squid baits.
